Greetings from the Capital Dance Championships Team,

It gives us great pleasure to invite you to officiate as Scrutineer at the 2024 Capital Dance Championships. Details of the event are listed below. Please review everything carefully, provide the information requested, and most importantly sign and return a copy to us in either paper or electronic format.

Preferred Arrival Date: Tuesday August 20, 2024 4:00 PM

Preferred Departure Date:  Sunday August 25, 2024 12:00 AM

Approximate Competition Start Time/Date: Tuesday August 20, 2024 07:00pm

Your compensation for the event will be $1300, plus all applicable travel expenses.  You will receive an additional $200 for Tuesday Evening Nightclub events.

Room reservations will be reserved for you based on the  dates above. If you need to arrive earlier or depart later than the above dates, please let our coordinator, Jackie Greek know so the rooming block can be changed.   Final rooming block is required by July 31, 2024. A single room night rate is $167; for convenience any additional room nights will be deducted from your fee.

The best airport for arrival is the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, approximately 10 minutes away.  The hotel no longer operates a shuttle service so taxi or ride sharing are the best options.

Dress Code is Best business for all sessions, except for Saturday Evening, which is formal.
